Finding the best telescope is hard. I mean, this is something you’re investing in and it’s going to last you a while. You want the best telescope but you don’t want to over empty your bank account either.

Best telescope under 500: There’s no way you can go wrong with Celestron telescopes. They are all good, whether you’re an astronomy student looking for something to gaze at the night sky or a casual observer who wants something to observe wildlife on Earth. I have chosen ten models that are available online at good prices — and, in my opinion, they are the best telescope under 500 you can buy.

You’re looking for a telescope, right? But you don’t really know what to look for. There are just so many telescopes on the market and it can be hard to distinguish between the choices. This is why I’ve decided to create this guide for you. I’m only interested in two things in this guide: helping you find a telescope and make the most out of your investment.

Celestron telescope

Many people ask me:     “What is the best telescope under 500 dollars?”     “Or the one under a 1000 dollars?”,     or even higher. They are always surprised when I answer them :          “I will show you what is the best telescope under 10.000 dollars”. But, before we make such an expensive decision, let’s talk about what to look for in a telescope.

One of the most reasonable instruments for observation is Porro prismatic telescope. It was created in 1856 and used for observing the birds and animals, but later the mankind started to use it for celestial observations. Astronomers have no intention to develop such great refractor but this telescope turned out to be a real revolution in astronomy since it allowed to see deep space objects and planets closer than ever before. The telescope allows to see objects that are located very far from us and makes better points much easier.

I am a passionate amateur Astronomer who has been interested in the wonders of the sky for as long as I can remember. The interest in telescopes picked up when I was young. Like most kids I was fascinated by the Moon and was always eager to view it through our 50mm refractor scope. The overall experience led me to wonder what would be if we were able to go there, how big towers really were on the Moon, whether it is possible to spot lakes there, why stars twinkle etc. These questions triggered my interest in telescopes and ever since then I have been collecting and using different kinds of telescopes depending on what they could be useful at.

On the following note we will be talking a lot about best telescope under 10,000 dollars different machine and the most important factors you need to know before getting really great machine according to the latest price and contract rumors, it has been a wild ride the year ahead will bring more questions about original machine and best telescope for beginners uk, best telescope for viewing planets and galaxies, best telescope for beginners 2020 how to use them and get information of great prices on this blog will offer some answers. Speciality Series Travel Scope 70mm

Travelscope 70mm

Specifications:
Type: Refractor
Aperture: 70 mm (2.76 inches)
Mount Type: Altazimuth
Max Magnification: 165x
Finderscope: 5×24
Focal Length: 400 mm (16 inches)
Tripod: Aluminium
Value for Money: 97%

Multiple features go in favor of this specialty series telescope. It has a world-class build. The telescope has the largest aperture that comes under 10 thousand bucks.
And you’re not compromising with quality either. It has a whopping 70mm of refractive aperture. And a vast 165x of magnifications. It’s quite lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to travel with.

And specialty series telescope can probably show you from craters of the moon to Saturn’s ring and nebulas & galaxies like Andromeda. But it takes patience!

Overall, the Specialty series travel scope is the best bet. It’s capable of the excellent sky/deep-sky observations. Go for it with no hesitation. It won’t be a mistake!.

PowerSeeker 60AZ Telescope

Specifications:
Type: Refractor
Aperture: 60 mm (2.36 in)
Mount Type: Altazimuth
Max Magnification: 165x
Finderscope: 5×24
Focal Length: 700 mm (28 in)
Tripod: Aluminium
Value for Money: 95%

Do you want a high-resolution telescope? You need a big aperture! And why not buy a telescope which provides you the same for a very reasonable price. That’s what the mammoth of Powerseeker 60AZ telescope is all about.

60mm? That’s approximately 2.36” of the refractive lens. The best bet for 6k. Do you need even better? Sorry, there is nothing further to go in this range.
You get an excellent unobstructed view—high magnification at your disposal & strong-sturdy built-in. The robust altazimuth mount will hold your back. So pick the scope, jump into the open night sky, away from light pollution. And no shy Saturn’s ring or nebula can hide from you. That’s what I can say at best.

Celestron PowerSeeker 60EQ Telescope
Specifications:
Type: Refractor
Aperture: 60 mm (2.36 in)
Mount Type: Equatorial
Finderscope: 5×24
Focal Length: 900mm
Tripod: Aluminium
Value for Money: 95%

It’s almost identical to the previous one. However, Powerseeker 60EQ differs in focal length and mount. The scope features 900mm focal length, 100mm more than 60az. Along with that, it also comes with an equatorial (better) mount. Superior to Altazimuth. But it’s complicated. Not suggested for beginners. Great for intermediate.

Overall it’s best suited for deep sky observations. And you get all these extras for 2 thousand extra.

However, unless you want a better mount, there’s no solid reason to favor this expensive counterpart.

PowerSeeker 50 AZ Refractor Telescope

Specifications:
Type: Refractor
Aperture: 50 mm (1.97 in)
Mount Type: Altazimuth
Max Magnification: 118x
Finderscope: 5×24
Focal Length: 600 mm (24 in)
Tripod: Aluminium
Value for Money: 95%

I wanted, but I couldn’t keep myself from accepting it as the best deal. It not under the 10k budget. It’s under Rs. 5000. And that is the reason it also the best seller on Amazon with over 500 reviews.

But it’s not luck. It probably not! Powerseeker 50az offers the best value for money at the price point. For less than 5k, it has a dynamic 50mm aperture to the favor of 600mm of focal length.
It even features a finderscope, which a lot of expensive scopes miss. It’s mounted on Altazimuth for superbly tracking of moving celestial bodies. At the top of that, “118x” magnifications. WOW!

Finally, It’s a great choice, but only if you’re on less than five thousand limits. If you can pay more, then it’s better to go with a large aperture telescope.

So these were the four best telescope to buy in India under the 10,000/- budget. I ain’t guarantee if there’s no better scope than this 4. And as I can see, after comparing all the telescopes within the mentioned price range, these are my personal favorites for the fact that they are reasonable & delivers exceptional value for money.

Conclusion
Here’s the thing. A telescope is a significant investment. But spend your hard-earned money wisely. I suggest starting with binoculars if you have just started it out. Here are few hand-picked astronomy binoculars to get you going.

The Celestron specialty travel scope 70az so far is the best telescope under 10000 rupees. It features the largest aperture on the list. The instrument delivers the most significant astronomical experience possible at a price. Or you can also hop in for PowerSeeker 60AZ or 60EQ.
And although Powerseeker 50AZ may not be as good as 70az, there’s no other reason to start with it.

And finally, please do let me know if you have any questions or need suggestions needed in the comments below.
