Best chanel perfume for summer

Moving right along with the summertime related posts, I wanted to do one for the ladies’ side of things, and focus on one of the most popular brands:

Chanel. For this list, I am going to focus on the best perfumes by the French design house, which will work best in the summer.

I have already covered the best overall Chanel scents, but many of those are too heavy and cloying for the heat.

The list is in order, as a top three, for the season but all of them will work just fine. It’ll boil down to personal preference.

Chance Chanel Eau Fraiche Eau De Toilette Spray, for Woman EDT 3.4 fl oz, 100 ml– Chance Eau Fraiche is a wonderful fragrance and particularly excels as a summertime wear.  Chance Eau Fraiche features a top that is both aquatic and citrus, with lemon leading the way.

The base notes of the perfume hold things together with fresh cedar and a great pink pepper note. It is a clean and light scent, but not weak, that will holdup perfectly in the heat and not get bogged down or warped.

The EDT Version

Coco Mademoiselle EDT 50ml/1.7oz Brand new & sealed– The EDT version of Coco Mademoiselle is another awesome pick for the summer months. The EDP is more well suited for the colder months, so, make sure you pick up the correct bottle.

The EDT is cleaner and has a lighter overall profile, led by citrus notes including: bergamot, grapefruit, and mandarin orange. The patchouli can initially come off as strong, but once settled in, it totally works within the composition aiding the citrus.

The other main draw, is the jasmine note, which adds a light floral ingredient to this perfume. While not as heavy as the EDP, this one still has a very good longevity and the sillage isn’t ever underwhelming.Shop Related Products

Chanel Chance Tendre Eau de Toilette Spray For Women 1.7 OZ./ 50 ml.– This is the best smelling version of Chance, in my mind, but probably the second best option for summer. Eau Fraiche is the better summer wear, but this one still works well in the heat.

In the opening, the crisp citrus notes work well with the floral notes: jasmine, iris, and hyacinth. The drydown, feels more suited to spring, with the slightly powdery floral notes and musk.

Also, the flowers are more prominent in the dry down, than is the citrus. As such the dynamic changes. Still, this one smells great regardless of season, and is a best seller for a reason.

Here is your ultimate guide to the best-smelling Chanel perfumes. Chanel fragrances are just iconic! Not only did Gabrielle Chanel create a real revolution in the fashion world with her simple, elegant fashion of timeless appeal, but she also created a similar revolution in the world of perfume, with its first fragrance: the iconic Chanel N°5, introduced in 1921.

While at the time most women wore fragrances made from a single floral note, the Russian perfumer Ernest Beaux created for the Maison a complex scent made of a melange of florals and heady aldehydes.

Now, a century later, Chanel offers a myriad of luxurious scents. And even if you can’t go wrong with Chanel’s fragrances, in today’s article, I wanted to share with you ten of my favorites.

Whether you’re looking for treating yourself to a fresh and joyful spring scent, a floral and zesty summer perfume, or a comforting fall fragrance, in the list below, I’ve included fragrances for every season and every kind of occasion. Keep scrolling to see the ten best Chanel perfumes that are worthy of a spot on your vanity.

The 10 Best-Smelling Chanel Perfumes

Chanel N°5
Created in 1921 by Coco Chanel and Russian perfumer Ernest Beaux, N°5 is the world’s first abstract fragrance.

The iconic fragrance is a floral bouquet composed of May rose and jasmine and features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes create a unique presence, while the smooth touch of bourbon vanilla yields an incredibly sensual sillage.

Coco Mademoiselle
One of the most classic Chanel perfumes for women, Coco Mademoiselle is a fresh, feminine ambery fragrance. Vibrant orange, accord of jasmine and May rose, accents of patchouli and vetiver.

Sycomore
This is one of my favorite Chanel fragrances. Created in 1930, Sycomore is inspired by the noble spirit of autumn and the childhood of Gabrielle Chanel. Composed of the smoky scent of vetiver, with notes of cedar and vanilla.

1957
A sensual accord of white musk is delicately fashioned with floral notes of bergamot, iris, and neroli, woody notes of cedar, powdery accents, and a hint of honey. 1957 is one of my favorite Chanel perfumes.

1932
A sensual, precious accord of jasmine, with notes of pear and grapefruit, is faceted with iris and vetiver. I just adore Chanel’s 1932!

N°18
N°18 is a gorgeous fruity fragrance. The warmth of ambrette seeds, enhanced with notes of white musk and geranium, unfurls to leave a vibrant trail.

31 Rue Cambon
A sensual fragrance inspired by the mythic Parisian address. I love 31 Rue Cambon fragrance! The radiance of a chypre accord heightened with notes of iris, black pepper, and vetiver.

Bois des Îles
If you love ylang-ylang, you’ll love Bois des Îles! This spellbinding woody scent is enriched with ylang-ylang for enhanced warmth and mystery, plus sandalwood and tonka bean. A gorgeous perfume.

Coromandel
I love this comforting and very warm scent! Coromandel features a heightened musk note, while swirls of frankincense and Andalusian labdanum convey a deep ambery note with smoky accents.
